CAN ANYONE REMEMBER THIS :

If so please email me or it is also on our facebook page.

Fire at John Hampden school, Bar net. 1961

Dear colleague I was a young Middlesex fireman in 1961, and we attended a very large fire at the John Hampden school, Bar net. It was a very foggy night and we attended this Hertfordshire fire ground because we had wheeled escapes that could reach this very high roofed building. The mighty London Salvage Corps were in attendance due to the high water damage and continually slurred out large amounts of water from the main halls. I would be very grateful if I could get any photos of this incident. Many thanks my brave comrades. Peter
